00:00Do you know one thing I wish in life, I wish in life that I had of got involved in property or done more things than property.
00:07Okay, you have a choice, you earn money, you work hard for it and you can choose what to do with it.
00:11I chose to enjoy mine.
00:13I think that's a good thing now.
00:14Well, it's a good thing in this, just you get the tax department who then say,
00:19well, you know the way we said your tax was all fine, we've changed our minds so we can go back over 10 years
00:23and then you can't really bank against that, but that's what they do because they can do
00:27and they all do it no matter what the party is.
00:30So now Angela Rangers come forward today and she's saying,
00:33well, there's lots of ways I think we're going to get more tax out of them.
00:36So as if you're not feeling poor enough, they're going to get more from you.
00:40Where do they think it stops?
00:42You see, you know nothing about this because you're young in life and you're just starting out.
00:46I am saving though, trying to save.
00:48Yeah, but then you're going to get to 55 and 65 and you're going to look back and say, what have I got?
00:53And you're going to see that they've taken it all, they've taken it all from you in life
00:57through tax and this greed thing today about, oh, the wealth of the property of the country,
01:043.7 trillion, that's owned by old people, tax them, tax them, get the money out of them
01:10because they're greedy and they're going to, what a lot of absolute nonsense.
01:14You're told all your life to do these things, do these responsible things.
01:18Buy a house.
01:18And then if you do do it, they're going to hit you with a big hammer for it.
01:22But that's it.
01:23So whether you have it, and good luck to you if you have it, or you haven't, you know,
01:27there you go, you haven't got it.
01:29But they want it.
01:31They don't want it to be yours.
01:32They want it to be theirs.
01:34So, you know, does government not realise that tax money is not their money, it's our money.
01:41And really, they've got to think about how they spend our money.
01:46So I'm just starting that debate for you today.
01:49What you think of it, let us have your say today.
01:53Maybe you agree, maybe you think, you know, Anselm Reiner's absolutely right.
01:56There's no doubt about it.
01:57There should be more social housing.
01:59Government should be doing more things in the world.
02:01Like, probably government should be providing us with basic essentials like water.
02:06Like water that we should be able to drink and wash and whatever, and not going to private companies who are scooping every single centimetre of cent out of what is going on.
02:18So those water companies, we're going to be talking about them today as well.
02:22We've got a lot to talk about this morning.
02:23But it's all about the left wing of the Labour Party.
02:25They're not happy with the spending squeeze that we're seeing at the moment.
02:27They're not happy with universal winter fuel payments being scrapped, cuts to disability benefits.
02:34They're thinking about something else instead.
02:36They're looking at taxes.
02:37And Angela Reiner has reportedly been pushing the Chancellor to increase taxes on savers and high earners.
02:43Well, you know, I know you say left wing of the Labour Party.
02:46They're all the same.
02:47All of them.
02:48All of them want to squeeze every pip from your body, from your being, from your bank account.
02:55So none of them are any different.
02:57Absolutely none.
